The publication consists of a set of complementary papers informing about the current state of research on the subject of city planning, public spaces, landscape, history, urbanization and other related topics. The publication is linked to the conference Man, Building and Urban Planning 16. The conference was organized by the Department of Urbanism and Spatial Planning of Czech Technical University in Prague (Faculty of Civil Engineering). It took place on the 16th of November 2023. Papers have been approved by the editorial board based on their annotations. After the conference all texts were reviewed by two reviewers in the double blind review, and only the papers that have met the criteria of the Scopus database on the conference proceedings were selected for publication.
